Editorial Independence
WomanReview's editorial content is produced independently of any commercial relationship. Brands cannot pay for coverage, request changes to published rankings or influence the language we use to describe their products. Our editors have final say over all content, and any potential conflict of interest is disclosed clearly to readers.
How We Research Products
Our editors and research team build coverage from publicly available product data: ingredient lists, formulation details, stated skin-type compatibility, size, price and verified buyer ratings and demand signals. We cross-reference multiple sources to make sure we are representing products accurately before publishing.
Accuracy and Corrections
We work to keep product information, prices and ratings as current as possible, but market conditions change. When we learn of an error, whether spotted internally or flagged by a reader, we correct it promptly and note the update where appropriate. To report an error, email hello@womanreview.com with the page URL and the specific issue.
Responsible Skincare Claims
We follow responsible standards for skincare language. We do not make medical claims, and nothing on WomanReview constitutes dermatological or medical advice. Where we describe what an ingredient or product may do, we use appropriately qualified language such as 'may support the appearance of,' 'targets the look of' or 'is commonly used for.' We never claim a product cures, treats or erases any skin condition.
Updates and Review Cycles
Skincare categories move quickly. We update rankings when significant new products enter the market, when existing products change formulation or pricing, or when the balance of verified buyer data shifts enough to change our recommendations. Pages carry a last-updated date so readers always know how current the information is.
